How We Might Assist

Our website contains a great deal of resources and we are working to increase this database of information.

Through funding from the NYFVI we are able to offer some consultations to qualifying individuals or groups. For more information please see our information sheet.

Our work focuses on farmer-owned businesses. Examples include:

A group of small vegetable producers incorporated as a cooperative so that they can distribute to local institutions more efficiently.
A small agricultural business sought information to aid a decision in forming an appropriate organizational structure to incorporate family members.
Several Farmers Markets across NYS have sought assistance in organizational structure (including financing) in order to develop viable operations.
2 individuals running a CSA were interested in formalizing their business partnership and our assistance provided them information to make decisions.
A board of directors’ workshop was developed for the New York Maple syrup Association.
